Robotic Arm Automatic Loading and Unloading Machine

The robotic arm automatic loading and unloading system uses a 6-axis articulated robot to pick, orient and load workpieces into CNC lathes or machining centres and unload the finished parts automatically — ideal for flexible, high-mix, unmanned production cells.
  • Product details
  • Product Overview

The robotic arm automatic loading and unloading system is built around an articulated industrial robot (6-axis or 4-axis) and works in line with CNC lathes and machining centres. Mounted in front of the machine or on a column / linear track, the robot uses a quick-change gripper to take blanks from a magazine, conveyor or vibratory feeder, locates them mechanically or by vision, loads them into the machine chuck or fixture, and after machining removes the finished part and places it in the output zone — enabling one operator to tend several machines or fully unmanned production.

Compared with gantry loaders, the robotic arm solution offers greater flexibility, a larger working envelope and more degrees of freedom, so it handles complex part shapes, multi-angle gripping and two-operation flipping with ease. It also allows the same robot to perform inspection, deburring, cleaning or palletising on one line. Cycle time and structural rigidity are slightly lower than a dedicated gantry. It is ideal for high-mix, low-to-medium volume production and flexible manufacturing cells (FMC / FMS).
